Pay calculators
Wage and paycheck arithmetic: hourly to salary, overtime, and take-home pay. Same philosophy as the rest of the site — every formula is shown, and anything that varies (your hours, your tax rates) is an input you control, not a number we guess.
Hourly to salaryConvert an hourly wage to annual, monthly, biweekly and weekly pay — or back.OvertimeTime-and-a-half and double-time pay for a week with overtime hours.Take-home payWhat lands in your account each paycheck, using your own effective tax rates.
These are planning estimates, not tax, legal or financial advice. Actual paychecks are governed by your W-4, payroll rules and local law — for filing decisions, use the IRS withholding estimator or a professional.
Why the tax rates are inputs
Most paycheck calculators bake in the current year’s federal tax tables and go quietly stale every January. This one asks for your effective rates — total tax divided by income from last year’s return — which already average your real brackets, deductions and credits into one honest number that you can verify yourself.
