TheJobCalc

Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-08-05

1. Acceptance

By using TheJobCalc you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Estimates, not professional advice

Every figure this site produces is an estimate for material planning. It is not engineering, architectural, construction or safety advice, and it does not replace local building code, manufacturer instructions or a licensed professional. Anything structural — slab thickness, reinforcement, footings, framing, roof loads, ventilation — must be verified by someone qualified for your jurisdiction and site conditions.

3. Accuracy and material yields

Package yields, spread rates and material densities vary by brand, batch, moisture content and jobsite conditions. Where a value can vary we expose it as an input so you can match the product label. Always confirm the final quantity with your supplier before ordering.

4. No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that results are error-free or suitable for your project.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheJobCalc and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage — including wasted material, shortfall, labour cost, delay, property damage or injury — arising from use of this site or reliance on its output. You are responsible for checking quantities before you buy or build.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or misrepresent its output as certified engineering figures. Automated bulk copying of the content is not permitted.

7. Intellectual property

The text, layout and code of this site are owned by its operators. Standard formulas, physical constants and industry conventions are of course not — you are free to use the arithmetic.

8. Third-party links and advertising

Pages may link to, or display advertising for, third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
